Working in Openet

At Openet it matters that you matter. We work hard to ensure that our people have roles that challenge; and experiences that are fun and enjoyable. From the minute you join us you are an important member of our team.

Our values are clear and uncompromising. We look for people who are their best when working with others to solve our customer needs; who are passionate and determined in driving their own performance. It is important to us that our people look at the world through different lens and understand that being innovative is everyone’s responsibility. And that in order to be the best we need to always be adaptable.

But the story of Openet is the story of our people. For this reason we run a number of initiatives to better connect our employees. Our Social Club hosts monthly events and every week the Openet Canteen provides a complimentary breakfast. Kick back and enjoy your downtime with the pool table, foosball table, darts, PS4 and the absolute favourite – Table Tennis. There is also the well-established and much loved Summer BBQ, games tournament and Christmas party. Openet believes that being involved in the community matters – and we encourage our people to get involved in a number of local and not so local initiatives. Openet is also a proud platinum sponsor of the annual International CoderDojo Coolest Project event (check out

We are a diverse organisation with a culture of hard work, personal and professional achievement and of course, fun! Working in Openet means working in an organisation that is ambitious and focused on being the leader, not the follower. So join us and be your future in Openet.

Working for Openet doesn’t feel like work sometimes! I work with a great team who are always on hand to help, and the atmosphere is really friendly and relaxed!

Since joining Openet I have have the opportunity to work on a lot of new and interesting projects with welcoming and talented engineers. I currently work in the UI department, providing the front end applications for our products. Grads are encouraged to volunteer in Coder Dojo, Coolest Projects, as well as promoting Openet on campus! The social club is also well worth it
